I’d like to tell you that I painted this enchanting ball of energy from life, but they – and I do mean they, because long-tailed tits are the most sociable of songbirds – NEVER stay still long enough for me to capture their delicate markings properly. I adore their ‘eyebrows’ and their signature long, elegant tails. Another of my favourites and I hope, one of yours too.
